Overview

The University of Ljubljana has taken part in various research and development projects for sustainable mobility solutions. Our focus is mainly in the fields of human-computer interaction and user-centered design in vechicles. Some of our fields of expertise are: development of an ecodriving application for a transition to a low-carbon society and SmartMobility. We also have rich experience in co-creation and multistakeholder innovation approaches. The UL is very active in international research and educational programmes and projects, especially in the EU Framework Programmes (FP7, H2020) where it ranks among the top of universities and research organizations from the new EU Member States. Troughout close collaboration with our Government we can support the development of various strategic documents, such as the Smart Specialization Strategy and we are involved in the preparation of the action plans within the Strategic Research and Innovation Partnerships for Smart Cities and Communities.
